Side note about the vote rigging.

The actual results and placements match up well with character relevancy and romantic inclinations towards Toudou with maybe a few swaps. At the least the quarter finalists are the longer time characters that still consistently express infatuation with Toudou

Though the tournament itself is all kinda null as an actual tournament the moment the exploits and rigging happen at all. Now it's more just as an event for "shits and giggles" to get us to come together while waiting for a chapter, which was the intended purpose in the first place.

Providing an update:
While the chapter is done there's still some work to be done on the publisher's end before it goes up. The authors are trying to get the chapter released as soon as possible, but it's possible the publishers may choose to hold it back till next month, unfortunate but possible.

In other important news one of the two authors, the Mochi out of Mochi Au Lait, has been diagnosed with a serious hormone condition and will be taking some time off while they undergo treatment and recover. This does not mean the series will be going on hiatus or that the release schedule will be changing, but the length of chapters may be reduced for a time. Given recent chapters have been almost twice as long as when the series started, that's not a big ask!

If there are any further developments I'll keep everyone apprised here, It's been encouraging to see an outpouring of love for Mochi and strong support for Mochi Au Lait. Let's all keep them in our thoughts.

This series is published by Kadokawa, who I believe were part of the DMCA, so it is possible this series will no longer be available on Mangadex soon. The only other site I've been involved with is Dynasty Scans, if there are any others that readers would like to recommend as a fall back let me know ASAP.

So we haven't gotten a new raw in 4 months? Or did something happen with the translations? I came back late to this so idk if it's just that new chapters got taken out by DMCA or if it's something else. Really appreciate asterist's translations, they're so fun to read

We had a very awkward situation where a new chapter was not released for almost three months and then a lot was released in a short period, all while I've been working on a secret project (await my coming).

The current translation backlog is:
1) An 11 page extra from the latest tankoubon release (buy volume 8 today)
2) A 40 page chapter
3) A 25 page chapter

I'm going to try to get the extra out ASAP to get fans back into gear and then get to work on the rest. Be assured the lights are still on we just had a real terrible run of luck with the scheduling.
