Thanks !

At least the Neighbor finally called tho I would've expected a live streamer to dox them

Page 8 don't think however needs a hyphen tho

Wonder if those college friends snitched but I guess using those money in restaurants and stuff would leave a paper trail

I wonder if the mother even got charged with anything since she's not a minor anymore even if she did appear in a brief panel Being questioned

Hopeful ending for her at least (I mean some of it is still society's fault you could argue but good thing the cops didn't also make her serve time for stabbing him even tho it was a product of his treatment and her mental illness)

Wow. Umm. Huh. This feels like some type of weird propaganda with that ending. Seriously, what am I supposed to take away from this? That therapy stuff seemed good... why not make it about getting the support you need before it's too late? But then the second to last page has the internal monologue blame her dependency on others... others in this case being her mother and the guy that took advantage of her. Isn't she 19? Seriously, what am I supposed to take away from this? Society is hardly black and white and there are clearly real issues here that were allowed to exist because of some of the norms, systems in place, and failures of the system (like for starters her mother should've lost custody of her a long time ago). But no, it's that she didn't try hard enough to be a good member of society? Genuinely, had she not been lucky I'm not sure how this girl would've survived without something big and traumatic like this happening. "Society" is unfortunately something that needs to be invoked and kids (she's still a kid barely aware of the world or the resources available to her) fall through the cracks so easily when neglected. She had been way too normalized to her mother's environment and was even kicked out with no where to go. What even is "society"? What even was this Manga? I don't know. Maybe the real story was about how if you're in a rough financial situation, just sell some organs I guess.

... that's the ending? It's pretty rushed, like a Drama or something.

Only explanation I can think of is the series got axed. Because the way this rushed ending makes it seem like is "Oh Maki-chan just wasn't a good enough member of Society so she got tricked by people exploiting the system."

Which uhh, I don't think needs to be spelled out is a fucked up moral lesson, and certainly does not reflect Maki's actual situation. And what about the nurse? We see one shot of her, are we to assume she found out about the fraud and snitched Tomonori out?

And definitely there's more forgotten/unmentioned(?) plot points too that I'm too sick to type out. I'm typing even this much out of sheer fucking spite.

My perspective on storytelling is something along the lines of "the ending makes half the story" and clearly this story needed at least 22 more chapters to cook for a proper conclusion.

Now of course, I'm just a random Manga reader guy, if I can point these mistakes out then surely the Authors would know about it too given how the Manga progressed for the first 19 chapters, right? That's why I can only imagine the series got cancelled for us to get such a rushed end.

lmao shocked they gave this a happy straight forward ending....a deeper manga about the Toyoko kids would be really interesting.

thanks for the TL
