@tanukihat As an ex-shut in NEET I can tell you that everyday summer vacation is hell. Being locked in a room with the usual going downstairs routine damaged my mental health by a lot, I missed going to school at that point and wished I hadn’t dropped out.

I've been a shut-in NEET for almost 12 years now (left school in 2008), still going strong and loving my 24/7 YouTube videos and manga/anime.
Probably helps that my parents have no problem with me sticking around (they're getting frailer and I handle the bulk of the household chores),
and our house is fully paid off so when the time is right they're gonna sign it over to me. I'm here forever!
