Alright then, let's lay out the obvious plot points.

1. They're gonna get sought after by other people.
2. One or both people get jealous.
3. Miscommunication.
4. The break up was probably because one person got insecure (Most likely the boy) and ended things, and the other person accepted it, yet teases them constantly (the girl)
5. Miscommunication.
6. There are gonna be several chapters where nothing substantial beyond repeating the same schtick as the first chapter without progress.
7. Miscommunication.

Let's see how this plays out.

A childhood friend who has already won?
Technically one that already "lost" in more than one sense

First time I've seen this plot and this could go somewhere I guess. The comments here aren't being optimistic but hey, this is different from what I can tell.

Not like the creation of bread type where its revolutionary, but it is unique.

For those who think childhood friend love is sweet then you are really mistaken
Because we are already living together from childhood we no longer felt atraction to each other body and will not get turn on by basic physical contact like other usual stranger-lover couples experincing
and because of that making sexual intimacy became dificult because we already used to each other body already, it just like how you will not be able to get attracted to your opposite gender siblings body after living together from the moment you are born (unless you are degenerate)
That's true most of the time, yes. It's called the Westermarck effect.

If you grow up together with someone, especially if it started before you're 6 years old, you're far less likely to ever feel romantic or physical attraction towards them. This seems to apply whether or not you're actually related to them.

Westermarck Effect is a very iffy theory to begin with. Either way, a simple childhood friend you don't live with would not be subject to this effect, it would only come into play if the childhood friend acted as a sibling and you started subconsciously viewing that CF as a sibling. Simply growing up with a girl you played with as a kid would only be a problem if you just didn't see them as a girl even after you grew up, or if you're a dumb dumb and can't see that your relationship with her is already beyond just friends. The latter seems to be what this story is about, MC is too concerned with "only seeing her as a CF" when he just doesn't realize that she's already more than a friend to him and he's applying useless and limiting "girlfriend" labels where they don't matter.

tbh I think it can be sweet, sugary sweet even. But I agree that when you're at this level of familiarity with someone for so long that the relationship may not survive the transition to adulthood intact. You are slow to see the other person as mate material (even though they probably are), or worse, you're both afraid of the relationship changing at certain levels so the relationship simply dies.
