I kinda think that's what this chapter represents - the point where Renako, after her time spent with all four of them, does start actually taking agency for herself and her choices and gets that resolve to make a decision.

This is one of the few titles where I think it make sense. Given the other four (to varying-but-significant degrees) are all close to one another independently of Renako. Makes it actually poly-viable, and avoids the (in my subjective opinion) much more objectionable "harem" style conclusion.
