Most likely, unless the author have the balls to pick someone
Hint:
Read the LN.
The manga just finished vol 3 and you don't get to know until the end of vol 4 which god only knows how long that will be for the manga...

I will wait. At least until vol. 6 is out in English. Like, one book won't be enough to satiate my lust for stories.

Bold of you to assume I remember anything beyond the 5 most recent chapters :smugchisato:
You and most people in the comments. The mischaracterzation and rewriting of past events going on here is almost pathological. I remember rereading the story due to people always being like "Renako never even liked Mai in the first place!!" and me going"Really? I don't remember things happening that way?". Well, they didn't. Renako always, always liked Mai that way, she just felt too inadequate because of Mai being too popular, pretty and rich so her insecurities flared too much around her. Anyways, after the shitshow that went down at the end of Mai's arc I've had zero expectations for anything this author comes up with. They're probably spineless af irl and can't make important choices, just like Renako.

It's both hilarious and maddening at the same time to read the comments. You can always tell who the manga-onlies are, too. Some of you guys are gonna have to go back and eat your words when what happens finally happens. JUST SAYIN'...

its possible that youre right, but this is a manga discussion, by hinting at what happen next, it feels like youre spoiling things for those of us who havent read the light novel, i dont think thats really fair
just enjoy the story at our own pace and let everyone experience the plot without spoilers

I pretty much second this. Of course the comment section is gonna be filled with manga-onlys on a manga reading platform. That is their main or preferred avenue of choice for many of these stories and adaptations. Just let us enjoy the story as it unfolds at our pace. There is no reason to gloat about how we are going to "eat our words" because readers of the LN know something that happens further on that may invalidate the current thing we're excited about. That's no better than when someone is watching an anime and the person who read the manga is over their shoulder going, "Oh, just wait until this happens," humble bragging that they already have future knowledge of the entire series.

Based on what's been said by some of the LN readers here, we're not even halfway through the original story, so there are still plenty of twists and turns to go. I'm still convinced Mai is true endgame (sadly, as I much prefer Renako's and Ajisai's dynamic as it feels a bit more... earned, I guess I should say?), but there is no telling what will happen in the interim. For all we know as manga readers, Renako could break up with Ajisai in a month due to self-imposed anxiety of dating the girl she pretty much praised as a god. Or she will find some way to settle into a three-way romance with her and Mai, who knows? I know more than a few here are really gunning for the poly ending. Or maybe none of that happens and she ends up choosing a mystery third girl that shows up two volumes later.

I was just confused about what was happening, but I do like the protag and the Ajisai girl's dynamic. I feel like they would be much healthier and cuter than Mai and Protag. And it's sad that such a beautiful relationship is probable to crumble, Thanks for the insider mate! I can't wait for all the tee-tee to come ahahaha :meguusmug:

Ready to be underwhelmed by a misunderstanding or something dumb next chapter
Literally the first thing I felt when I saw her accept it with no words after that. This manga loves to prove Mai right… now to see Ajisai get hurt..
