One thing we've learned this chapter is that, not only does Ucchi's "normal" face look almost exactly like Yuu's (Uchi's eyes are a shade darker than Yuu's), now that they've finally drawn close-ups of Yuu and "normal face" Ucchi in handy side-by-side panels for easy comparison, but Ucchi's voice must also sound very close to Yuu's for Tomoko to be able to look into Yuu's face and think the "KIMOI"s are coming from Yuu's mouth.

Is the chapter devoid of great moments between characters? Not at all.

This has always been about interactions between characters, and unusual ways of experiencing youth. That continues to apply. This is mostly a "vibes" manga at this point, and there's nothing wrong with that.
