It's not about if Taiga really went to another world or not, is specifically if he believes her, even if Taiga is just dead.
I think more than anything she wants someone to believe her, because everyone else keeps trying to make her believe the contrary. If Doubara is lying to her and don't actually believes her, will he really try to do anything he is promising? I feel she wants feel safe, that he is not leading her and will not betray her when the time to act comes.
