I guess this is a good wake up call for the both of them. Tomota reeling with the weight of his words and actions, and the reality of playing along with Mio's delusion.

Honestly, I think it's fine for Mio to believe that her son got isekai'd though? But not with all the strings attached... We can't really confirm nor deny an afterlife, and this idea that her son got isekai'd is pretty much synonymous to going to heaven. But the idea that she can retrieve her son or be able to follow after him is definitely going past the line. She does need to get a grip on reality in that way... I wonder how she'll be able to achieve it.

Been looking forward for this one since she dropped the big question and it did not disappoint.

She’ll probably do that by finding joy in the world without Taiga in it, she isn’t 100% suicidal but she does want to re-discover the joy that she had when Taiga was still alive. she thinks that the only way to get that is to go where Taiga is.

She just needs to find something so she can accept that Tiaga isn’t going to be around anymore and to let Taiga live his own life in a fantasy world.

Honestly it’s hard to convince someone to stop not because it’s delusional exactly but because it’s plausible. If an afterlife is believable by people why can’t this be believable?

Doubara isn't anymore 2x years old. He should possess much more introspection, especially when he works with literature full time. At the end of the day, how is this different from any random mother, who lost their only child in an accident and has a totally non-supportive, cheating husband, asking someone if they believe the child is now in Heaven? Because going to Heaven after dying is not fundamentally any different from getting isekaied, the only difference being that going to Heaven is an official religious belief, that even billions may believe in, the other is fantasy literature.

If Doubara was a young guy, I wouldn't blame him for this, but since he's not, I do. Why the heck does he need to be 100% honestly and brutally straightforward in a case like this? This isn't about him, it's about Mio. He even realised that afterwards, but how the heck does realising it afterwards help? He should have had plenty of time to go through these things in his mind while Mio was visiting her own home, in fact even before while they were together. So, no, this was totally unnecessary and immature behavior from Doubara. I expected more from him.

Out of all the options i didnt expect him to just chicken out and switch the topic there, thats probably the absolute worst answer you can give to something like that
