The bullshit is back!!!

Cant believe ive been reading Yuri for a year now... okay.

Lucky bastard, count your blessings, they're quite massive, dont waste 'em.

I wonder though... where to from here? If memory serves, the romances still aint resolved yet. Will they ever do it or is this gonna be a ride never ends scenario?

I'm not really sure what anyone's arguing anymore. Is Youko specifically saying that in Class S, it can't exist without romance? Or just any senpai/kohai relationship can't exist without romance? Either statement seems really, really dumb.

Youko is, in this chapter quite obviously arguing from a place of hurt. She got her lesbian awakening through reading class S togther with a senpai of hers who came onto her and then at some unspecified point must have gotten married to a man because she's holding a baby in the messenger app profile icon when Youko contacts her again at the end of the chapter.

Youko is in every way just mad that her first relationship didn't work out, probably in part because it was never defined as a relationship which lead her to want to define every "sisterly" relationship as merely the preamble to dating because of the way she was hurt by being in a a similar situationship rather than anything real.

So tldr; Youko is coping, she refuses to acknowledge any relationship that isn't explicitly romantic, because of the way her first relationship didn't define itself clearly, and it's still hurting her.

It's back! Just a few weeks ago I was thinking about how this hadn't shown up in my feed for a long time, so I looked it up and saw it was on indefinite hiatus due to the author's health. Hope she's doing better now and we get steady releases of this, it's one of my favorite series

Finally Mai is taking the initiative and helluva, what an appearance! So glad to see it back (I knew they would!) and that one of the characters in the sidelines is gaining importance. Just for this, Mai has raised in the ranks of our yuri girls!

i'm glad it's back, but i really miss the original couple. they haven't been relevant for more than half the entire series at this point, and i'm honestly not interested in her childhood friend at all. her character drives me crazy.

I mostly agree with you but I have a couple nits to pick.

The big one is that we just have no idea how Youko's relationship with her senpai played out. Obviously it collapsed at some point and left Youko deeply hurt, but everything in between is up in the air. It's possible that they DID try to define it as something only for the senpai to eventually realize her feelings weren't actually what they had defined them as. Ultimately though, given the ultimatum Mai gave Youko, I don't think we'll see her try to interfere again in the main story, so unless an omake gets dedicated to Youko's teenage drama or the senpai enters the story separately, I don't think we're going to get that resolved. And that's okay. It doesn't really matter.

The minor nitpick is that what we see of Youko's message app doesn't necessarily mean she's contacting her senpai again right now, just that she's reached out in the past and gotten a reply.
