Yup, Shiori must be feeling really frustrated right now. She never intended to keep that promise. She just needed more time. Time someone doesn't want to give her 😏I guess what has her so shaken is how fast Hinako’s demeanor changed and how it was always just fake display to get herself killed.
This will kinda force Shiori to stop being complacent and try to actually understand human feelings.Yup, Shiori must be feeling really frustrated right now. She never intended to keep that promise. She just needed more time. Time someone doesn't want to give her 😏
My theory is that the character dynamics of this manga so far has been running on two parallel layers, the first being a monster wanting to eat a suicidal girl and the second being two gay women being gay. Every development of the story so far works for both of these layers.I guess what has her so shaken is how fast Hinako’s demeanor changed and how it was always just a fake display to get herself killed.
I see where you're going. Shiori, mourning Hinako's death all of her long ass life... And wishing for a death that no one can grant herkinda wish a tragic ending, the ending when shiori will actually eat her this story is good when its darkest
I just binge read the chapters, but the way Miko's character pivoted from the childhood friend love rival (the one destined to fail to the girl on the cover art) trope to the guardian fox trope- with it, in retrospect, having always been the guardian fox trope- is one of the cooler things about this this series.Miko pivoting perfectly to being the wingwoman is not exactly what I expected, but it does actually make a lot of sense. And she's quite good at it too. She's gonna have Hinako and Shiori in bed together by the end of the week.
