Thanks for the great work! Only 1.5 more chapter until catch up with the raw.
No one does it, you learn to live with but never get over it, im not speaking from personal experience but from a very close one
true, it gets better over time but never ends, and I speak from experience. You find some more purposes to stay alive, fewer reasons to die but the feeling of death sometimes still sounds comfortable to you.
I hope Shiori somehow would become that reason for Hina to live and Hina become the one to take Shirori to "this side", I just want them to be happy together.

"Dying is bad so keep living"

Therapists hate this one trick to END depression

Yeah I feel like the MC needs to be on suicide watch now, I know she's not outright killing herself because that would be a VERY unsatisfying end but she's clearly lost her last sliver of "hope" (having the mermaid kill her)

TBH I feel Miko is not a "love candidate", the narrative focused on how she cherishes everyone around her (With focus on Hinako of course), and how she has been doing this for who knows how long, makes me believe that her ultimate role in all this is that of a guiding light of support not only for Hinako, but also to help Shiori understand humans in general better.

Also, a big point of Yokai x Human stories is the tragedy of their lifespan difference, so unless something happens (Like Shiori giving Hinako her flesh) that's a point that will make a relationship between Hinako and any of the girls really complex.

I personally believe that at the end, with the help of both, Hinako will finally be able to move forward and enjoy a happy life with both of them at her side, then die of old age to be finally reunited with her family after a fulfilling life

After that, Shiori will join Miko in her role of protecting and guiding humans, all in memory of Hinako.
Weird enough…

I have a feeling that Hina will just die in the end… I feel like this is one of the things that is either gonna take 200 chapters to get a “decently happy” ending or just not a happy ending at all

Yeah i imagine conversion would be difficult for a fish with no real interest in anything outside consumption and humans

Ha, a family members name is Yuri, that's no coincidence

...this may take a while, have a nice day

I fell in love with this manga because it depicts suicidal thoughts and depression SO WELL

I may not have depression but I have had suicidal thoughts

even if you know it will pain someone to hear it, even if you know someone cares, you still want to die.

Suicide, by itself is irrational. It’s not rational, you are not and never in the right mind if you commit suicide.

Confession is nice... though I really wonder how they will get Hinako to want to live...
