I feel like for nagisa, maybe he had the disorder but unlike mc, he embraced and accepted OR even beyond that (maybe he always identified as male and the disorder was a blessing but came with the effects of bullying and mothers' disapproval) so thats why he feels bad that although mc is going through what he did, its not the same since she wants to return to beign female. so now he feels alone.

but thats just my theory.

p.s. other chick totally is crushing on mc. I wonder if it mc will end up with her or nagisa, and i wonder as what sex.

Either way, were there hints that Mao likes Nagisa? or is she gay for Mino?
The author is making it deliberately ambiguous for now, but since Mao has spent basically the entire manga freaking out that Mino hates her, it seems more likely she's gay for Mino at this point.

Also, I'm pretty sure Nagisa likes guys; he and his friend deliberately not commenting on the "who do you like Mao or Mino" discussion is pretty meaningful to me.

What a plot twist, the guy was actually a girl... But also, what are those protuberances on blud's back? Weird...

At the end of the chapter how Nagisa thought about how could anyone want to go back to being a girl and the scars on his back I think that when he was a girl she was bullied, abused, and r*ped. Also how the mom was still being over protective about it not being safe at night there is at the very least history of an assault.

Dang. The Mc about to find out Nagisa was a girl in his past soon. This drama is interesting. The question is, does Nagisa have romantic feelings for the mc? Or will the mc develop another path after she finds out. Either way, this manga has spice to it. I’ll await chapter 8.

I definitely feel that him not understanding how anyone could want to go back stems from trauma from before the transition.

Yeah, this is just the author rebooting their previous manga at this point, but making the main protag forcibly FTM desiring to go MTF instead of forcibly MTF desiring to go FTM. But the main protag looks mostly the same, and now we have a character forcibly FTM who accepts it, the same situation (and mostly same look) as the secondary character in their previous work. They're also making this a much less edgy version - although given that final panel, we may end up talking about similar topics, just not as severe. Or maybe they're pulling a "put ecchi in the beginning to grab people then switch it with what you actually want" gambit like in some manga (e.g. Mieruko).
Sure, before you could obviously tell they wanted to make another "magical genderswap as a medical disorder" manga, but now it's basically "I'm rebooting my previous manga whether you like or not". I've seen that happen a couple of times before in manga, and I always have a weird sort of respect for it.

"How can she possibly think that?" is a weird thought to have about someone whose life was turned upside down less than a week ago. Especially coming from someone whose mother seems to have had a mental breakdown because of it, and is presumably being abused by his father. He of all people should know it's not all sunshine and roses

So if two guys who were previously women are in love with each other, is it considered yuri or yaoi?
I'd say it's straight romance at least for now? Since one character clearly thinks of themselves as a girl, appears so and conducts themselves thus (and is about to look for treatment to have their body conform to that perception), and the other is confident in their masculine appearance (at least seemingly). There is pleeeeeenty of space for this to shift around though.

I think I understand what you're saying, to be honest it's seems more complex than it appears, maybe like other people said, before the change he went through a horrible event related to the fact that he was a girl making him unable to think that someone who experience the same thing he experienced would want to reverse and stay with their original body when that person could become a man and escape the events that he went through in the past, even if for him the change definitely isn't appreciated/accepted by everyone at his home. I definitely think we know so little about his past that understanding why he hold this though is right now impossible.
