Yes, the manga's vibe turned to be a lil bit darker and serious with some dramas here and there.
Kamoi later saying she's in love with Stowie and she know stowie also loves her too, but she don't want to push him and just waiting for the guy to confess first. Later, Kamoi kissed Stowie and then he confess to her.
I think the crazy part is, even after the confession, their relationship still like going nowhere, they don't talk or act like a real couple.
Even after 16 chapters since the confession (from ch 57 to 73) we only see a little or even nothing romantic between the two of them. And to make things worse, Kamoi keeps thinking about her childhood friend, the freckless guy who later changed school to another city and Stowie know about it, and now in the latest arc, her friend gonna visit their school and that makes Kamoi really happy. This make Stowie anxious and to add salt into the wound, his classmate (girl who are his partner for writing script for school plays) said something bad that make him hit a slump, that's why in the latest chapters, stowie always drawed as a faceless guy.
tldr; Kamoi always stated that she like Stowie, but at the same time she also keeps thinking about her childhood friend even after stowie confessed to her. It makes you wonder which guy she really in love with. Also this manga gonna be full of drama later.
