No man, from what I'm understanding he's saying lust to mean being so horny anything can get him off. Even if it's a guy touching him (and he's straight/or at least believes he is). Nothing to do with being attracted to being queer. Even just something touching his nether regions could make him cum, something not even sexual. I've personally neverGuys, it seems to me, or did the author just call lust synonymous with attraction to queer people?
@brainman I'm not sure if I understood you correctly, but to me personally, the plot also began to resemble a sequence of erotic fantasies.
But doesn't that create the implication of "I'm so horny, so I'll sleep with another guy" anyway?Bro, you gotta set your boundaries, especially if you want to develop a relationship with Mitani. Or else she's going to be hurt, again.... and this time it would be really humiliating. I imagine it would be pretty humiliating for a straight woman if her man, leaves her for another man.

Basically he'll get off with anything. Nothing to do with orientation, even a girl he might not find attractive, but could make him horny. I do kinda understand the feeling when I was in my teens to some extent. When you have overexposed yourself to pornography or masturbating that you just can't stop thinking about it sex, and just about anything can set you off, giving you a boner (since you horny). That's why I'm saying it's nothing to do with sexual preference/orientation or being judgemental. It's just an adolescent experience when you have basically screwed your mind up with too much masturbation and/or porn. At least that's how I understood that from what was being expressed in the chapter. But doesn't that create the implication of "I'm so horny, so I'll sleep with another guy" anyway?
I don't quite understand how this negates my words, because it's still "I only find you hot because I'm too horny."Basically he'll get off with anything. Well your initial comment was about the author implying lust is synonymous with queer people which IMO makes zero sense and is definitely not what I got from the chapter. Lust isn't synonymous with a specific sexual orientation, it is about a state of being. When you are just chasing that feeling of sexual pleasure, that's what lust is and you don't have to be any specific orientation to experience it, or not. I'd even say it's not even about finding someone or something hot or attractive anymore as long as it give you pleasure. Lust like any other deadly sin is selfish, self-pleasing and personal, you don't necessarily have to find the person you are lusting attractive in fact. You are only using them as an object for your pleasure.I don't quite understand how this negates my words, because it's still "I only find you hot because I'm too horny."
You attribute to me an implication for which I unequivocally scolded the author. And yes, the attempt to justify the “transformation” of straight people into gays by lust is quite common in anime and manga.Well your initial comment was about the author implying lust is synonymous with queer people which IMO makes zero sense and is definitely not what I got from the chapter. Brah, isn't this you? This is what I've been responding to the whole time, and I'm saying that's clearly not what the author is saying.Guys, it seems to me, or did the author just call lust synonymous with attraction to queer people?

I didn't attribute to you anything, I was just disagreeing that what you said isn't what the author is saying. Once again, if you read on, you'll find that the idea of lust being explored here is much broader than that. It's actually more about a person's state of mind, how they feel, and if they are happy with themselves. True what you say about other manga, but not this one. At least I haven't even got a hint of that and I'm now on chapter 33. Almost at the end.You attribute to me an implication for which I unequivocally scolded the author. Well, that’s what you do, first you attribute to me the logic of the author’s alleged statement, and when I deny it, you try to dispute this logic, as if missing the very fact that these are not my words at all. Please don't waste my time.Brah, isn't this you? This is what I've been responding to the whole time, and I'm saying that's clearly not what the author is saying.
I think if you read the later chapters I you'll finally see where the author was getting at with this.
It's not about Yo being turned on by Kei or by Mitani. It's not about the gender or orientation. It's about the agony of being ensnared by lust. When lust has got such a hold on you that you can barely function or think straight without needing to get off.
That is the frustration that Yohei was expressing.
It not about lust being "synonymous with attraction to queer people". That's not what the author is going with this and I'm sure you'll see it later on.
