Of course Vigor would banish Denys, he doesn't fit any of the rules for male characters in a harem:
1.) Must be a complete evil jerk (to make the harem lead look good and serve as fodder to get beaten when he saves the girl).
2.) Must be an adult much older or less attractive than the main character (to not threaten his chances of getting with the girls).
