After deceiving the guy, her feelings got hurt and she decided to kill her 'lover' and everyone close to him? (I assume including his kids)

She used deception to involve herself in an adulterous relationship, somehow convinced herself that man who was betraying his family was a good man who loved her for who she was and wasn't just after her body, and when her deceptions and insane delusions collapsed around her she took it out on innocents.

Well, it's not a prison for nothing, I guess.

She didn't know the guy was cheating on his wife with her, so she's not to blame for that.
Also I wouldn't say she's gross, weird yes, but definitely not gross. I'd have SO many questions. Like how does she transform from Snake-lady to Human Woman, does she shed skin from her snake bits, does she have scales, is warm or cold-blooded, was she born or hatched, and so on. I feel these are all legitimate questions.
