Shion's mother is a riot. She's the no-nonsense, no-filter type, straight to the point. I have a couple of aunts from both sides who are just like that. She's also the first seemingly good mother in this story. Her family seems great. Shion is definitely a keeper for Kai as long as we don't get any crazy reveals from her side.

This is a glimpse of what could be a good ending for him if he ends up with her; but it's also painful to see as a reader that this can still very well blow up because of the fact that Kai is already technically two-timing her...

On a side note, if Tetsuji-sensei is a self-reference, then that makes me wonder... did Tetsukazu-sensei just turn their own editor into a character in this manga...?

Haha, Shion family is such a wholesome bunch, Kai gonna get healed in no time after lifelong traumatic experience, serotonin overload.

Things will go properly ugly when Shion will eventually find out that Kai is basically two-timing her with Akira, but he does that so she can stay away from Yuuto so hopefully Shion will understand...

Still sucks that nobody cares why Akira is like that and doesn't try to get to know why she is so clingy, Yuuto only satisfy his romantic lust but too naive and not relationship experienced to help and Kai too doesn't seem to care...

Sad to know this series won’t be long running, but here’s hoping for a good ending.
After having a chapter explaining Kai’s perspective and all he wants is to be accepted, I’m betting he’ll fall extra hard for his GF knowing she has such nice parents.

Sad that he’s technically in two-timing her with a crazy person.

This is when a game rubs your bad choice in your face by showing you what you would have got by selecting B instead of A.
