I'm more interested in How and the Why the Jin country was given modern technology. What was the reason? And that tossed of an emperor didn't help much in the use of that technology too. He was more interested in food, wine and bitches instead of advancing the country Into prosperity.

The thing is... I truly think Han Jingun is projecting the helplessness and anger he felt that day on Hwangwook. Jin's crappy king and his irresponsible behaviour is the cause of this all (at least that's how I see from what I've gathered) but he's already dead, so there we go, how convenient to blame someone else. I mean yeah, he was the general of the army whose soldiers killed that scholar lady in the end, but it wouldn't have come to that, if it weren't for that crappy king. Is what I think.
