@Oeconomist She has liked him for a long time already and must know his personality well enough. Realistically speaking we are seeing only a fraction of their interaction. She's just kind of naive to fall for his tricks time after time, but they obviously won't leave her hurt. If she didn't like this aspect of him at all, she would have forgotten him already and moved on.

@Oeconomist Your sense of humour and his are merely different. Miyazono definitely can tolerate or even appreciate his somewhat objectively cold and cruel jokes. Maybe because they do usually end in a mushy way. It must be working for those two.
