What manga or manhwa do you think has dropped in quality, jumped the shark, or was never good to begin with?

Before we begin I'd like to ask everyone not to attack each other. By all means, confront each other's logic and reasoning with your own, but please, keep it civil. This goes for both sides of the fence.

Skeleton Couldn't Protect the Dungeon.

It had a lot of potential. It has the "time travel to fix a mistake" trope which is really hard to screw up but this manhwa does exactly that by forgetting all of its solid plot lines in the beginning and go towards a cycle of:

MC meets new waifu --> new waifu dies --> somehow MC gains her powers and become stronger --> repeat

You can't get attached to anyone since MC is a self-insert and literally everyone else dies

good one. I dropped it when I realized I didn't want to know him. They need a chapter where he starts to help someone and they immediately break down sobbing I'm going to die.

I'll go with my wife is a demon queen. When they hit that arc with the collecting coins and the tournament, it lasted like 60 or so chapters didn't it?

Komi-san wa komyuushou desu

I dropped it long ago since manbagi got introduced to have a feeling to mc, i feel annoyed. I find it the plot doesn't interest me anymore. The story feels prolonged without decent progress. It forgot the initial goal to make komi have 100 friends in high school. Now it's just full of gag that i don't find it funny anymore. And a new characters rarely have attachment to komi like when she was 1st year.

Maybe i just have to skip the drama, but it still not work. The plot on manbagi just feel forced, plot armor. This destroy the flow. Now i find this manga is nonsense. I missed the feeling to want to support komi on the first part of story

Vinland Saga

Specifically what happens after the Baltic Sea War arc. Everything was simply glossed over with a time skip i feel like that is one of the biggest fuck you i've seen to date.

>>Duke of Death and His Black Maid

Prolonging plot for fluff isn't anything new , but it is too much , still good but not as great as the initial chapters .

I concur with komi-san , the same case of prolonging plot for fluff . And the long list of quirky character introduced isn't making impression in my mind .

>>Koi to Uso

Trying to prolong drama and repeat the pattern with low page-per-chapter-release . Just make Liliana win and we're done

>>One Piece

I can already foresaw the plot within a week . But yeah make sense to publisher since OP's popularity is still strong

>>Kimetsu no Yaiba

Yeah same cases , but justified since the author properly states the chapter and ending and tried to build the climax for hype

>>FT 100Years Quest

No good , the hype is over and the impact and passion from the initial release isn't there , I mean they defeated Zeref and Acnologia , but there is no aftermath and or proper explanation as it is supposed to be a sequel .

>>Mousou Telepathy

This severely lack of confrontation . Justified since it's a 4-koma with 1 page per release but , im impressed i can read this for so long

-------

this is just a rant

Is that the first time skip or is there another? I dropped that too after the timeskip because i have no ide what's going on. The mc looks a moron rather than one who kept his pride. Perhaps it was author's intention. But i am not that tough to keep reading it. The tragedy is too much for me.

Reading your impression makes me want to commented it back 😀.

I mostly agree about that except mousou telephaty because i am not reading it yet.

Duke of Death and the Black Maid_
I am agree with you. But recently the plot is progressing. So if i don't binge-reading it, it doesn't possess much problem.

Koi to Uso_
Yes. The side story don't have an impact at all. It could be good if they decided to make more fan service. As far as i remember the fan service is all good. I kept reading chapter 1 and 2 after a while.

One piece_
Certainly one piece is not one who make me surprised about the unexpected plot progress. But it is not typically easy one like fairy tale, bleach, naruto or dragon ball that the solving sollution is always there without a reason. i am too feeling it less quality than the past. But, it justified because oda doesn't have a vigor like his young one anymore, he clearly doesn't want to make the plot longer than planned

Kimetsu no Yaiba_
Now i think the same too. He benefitted the situation to make more profit as much he could. As long as the story not got sidetracked, it have to be ended after this arc.

Komi-san is a dropped one, it was cute and funny at first but just lost the plot and kept prolonging progress midway.

I see that many people came to dislike Tower of God due to the tone shift between season 1 and season 2, especially starting the Hell Train arc.

Around the fiftieth chapter, I realized I didn't like any of the main cast. In-story, after a string of questionable decisions, I decided to drop the series and never read the rest.
Popping into the comments, it appears that many feel the same way about the direction the author has chosen to take it.
