The cycle of childhood friends begins anew, I feel at peace as if everything is right with the world, no needless concerns of red death flags, just fluff to warm my tired heart.
Well this pretty much was a straight line wasnt it. I was full expecting there to be some sort of reckoning with her past or something half way through but, nope, just a story of things turning out alright.
I dont dislike that, but it felt like it was building towards something.
Kind of sad to see it end so soon, but that doesn't change that it was a beautiful ending for a beautiful manga.
Also, it's kind of funny to see people asking for more about her past when we were told more than enough (not counting those still coping with "She was just beat up!" Lmao)
This right here was the real goal of the manga, her tragedy -while an obviously important element of the manga- was never the focus, her recovery was.
