I love how their personality flaws are so pronounced and taken in stride. Maybe it's simple for most main characters in dramas. It feels like stage writing that uses clean patterns to set a persona (due to runtime and to help actors) more than the depth or archetype focused writing of people with hidden layers. By now we have a solid understanding of these two. It's weirdly sweet watching them be rude to each other yet grow closer.

Being inadvertently rude to someone you’re getting to know is also part of the process and it’s vastly overlooked or overexploited for drama.

I also find their dynamic very organic and sweet, specially when you have no reference of what a queer relationship is(which is mainly hera’s case).
