Honestly this manga has taken a whole other turn after they finally got together and changed main couple and added all this drama. I miss the feeling the early chapters had.

Hard agree. @MathMols also is absolutely right. I went to reread the past ~8chapters just now and it is insane how bad Himari got. She is being absolutely terrible to everyone around her. I unironically feel angry at what her and Kase have become.

She forces her own ideals onto everyone around her, it almost feels insane at times. Chapter 34-42 make her seem like a selfish prick. She also managed to sour the mood and ruin dates/interactions with Yori EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. by only thinking about herself and the other girls.

Then it actually devolves into Himari wanting to know EVERYTHING about Shiho to a point that she knows more about her than Yori.. She ruins the mood when with Yori, again, after still thinking about Shiho 24/7.

Suddenly we get some bait panels with bare minimum romance, climaxing with Yori as butler and Himari showing affection again after a while- and it is ruined instantly by her running off, being jealous and actually crying. And Yori has to immediately come running and fix everything. What a letdown.

Whatever, the concert is coming up, potential! Nah, Himari is seen absolutely captivated by Shiho and Band's performance. When Yori sings she is linking arms (for the 6th time now, dunno why it is done so often) with Shiho in the crowd and completely ignoring the performance (there legit is not a single (0) panel of her reacting). Yes, she can like other music and musicians. But this just ain't fair. But she at least fixed Shiho's life! Surely was worth it to neglect Yori.

It just is Yori over and over enduring Himari's selfish whims and shenanigans while getting the bare minimum engagement relationship-wise. Hope people (in-manga) will start calling her out like Yamada's friends the last 2 chapters. Kase incarnate.

Not gonna lie the festival arc (I assume the finale) has been a bit of a late down. We get less and less of the senpai and Himari and instead more and more of the rival. Sure it's for building characters but when you take out one of two main heroines from a series it may start losing the thing that's keeping it together imo.

We got an arc where Himari only try to help her senpai, she she has been friend with for a long time, make up with her friend and people are here "Himari is the worst, she didn't stay every day with her GF! It's a frigging sweet Yuri. The MC literaly saved the friendship of two her two friend and they ended up as a couple because of her doing all this... And people are saying she is bad... We got a super sad back story, we got two girl doing their best to make up after doing stupid things. All of this well writen, and people are shitting on the walls...

It's crazy. For real, it's totaly crazy.

Yuri have ALWAYS been like this, they always were about cute relationship between girl. It always derive to the MC's friend and their relationship. But people are complain that author's doing a good job and writing logical and "realistic" character and relationship...

I don't know what you mean by this. Like I said in the previous thread this has been going on since chapter 15, from the very beginning if you consider that Yori was performing in the entrance ceremony because Shiho walked back on the band, both were way before the anime ever got a confirmation announcement.

Fun chapter. Himari has clearly found something that makes her feel useful, in Lorelei, and it really shouldn't be an issue for her to have her own hobbies, work or even separate friend group. Everyone has been busy recently, so 1-on-1 time has been limited but that's life. That happens and is normal. Relationships are not about being literally tied to each others hips everyday.

As for this talk, they just need to settle the last remaining issues, and it's not like Shiho likes Himari romantically. The bonfire should have made that clear to everyone (and seems it did). Aki is taken (even if the two need more time to come to terms with their new relationship). So Yori's worry and jealousy should subside after a good chitchat. They'll also presumably have more free time now to hang out again, so that should be taken care of.

After that I really wonder how far into the future we can go. Will some of the groups actually graduate? Looking forward to it and I'm glad that this chapter seems like she's (author) potentially opening the story up again rather than what I expected.

I think it's funny that Shiho looks to be "interfering" (from Yori's point of view) with Yori and Himari's date, presumably in the next chapter too, contrary to what some readers expected, i.e. that her arc was over in the last chapter, and she would at long last (after two years) fade into the background.

That's one reason I'm more certain than ever that Shiho is not going anywhere. To be clear, ever since her crush on Aki was revealed, there was a decent chance that they would become a couple. But with Aki's speech during the festival live, and the bonfire chapter, it's clear that we're moving forward with the Shiho x Aki route. Which makes the odds of Shiho being pushed to the background really unlikely.

Shiho is the Yori to Aki's Himari, meaning Shiho and Yori are both vocalists pursuing Aki and Himari, respectively. Whispering them a love song, if you will... With that, and with their relationship having been a major driver of conflict, they might as well be the #2 ship at this point, ahead of Kaori x Mari and Hajime x Momoka (though I hope we will get to see more of those ships too).
