Other sites have 10+ chapters in English while some title in mangadex have 1 or 2 English translation and worst case ..zero English translate.
Why some manga have terrible English scanlation upload?

Two possibilities, in mangadex groups are free to decide if they want to upload in here or not, you are checking either their own websites or aggregators that have bots that rips from them or you are reading official releases that aren't uploaded in here (there is a rule about that) and also aggregators use bots to rips from them
