You know I thought Sadako would have more of a reaction to being slapped. The fact that she had no reaction at all is kind of deeply concerning because it hints that either she's used to a level of casual violence. Or she's already that witnessed and codependent on Hanako.
Sadako seems to feel jealousy at least.

To me Hanako and Sadako still having all of their biggest feelings aimed at the other even in the face of getting rizzed up and separated by what seem like a couple of experts tailoring themselves to their marks shows how much room in their brains they've already reserved for each other. They've confused several sets of witches on their tussle based relationship for good reason. Sparks are flying.

Now they need to Scooby-Do two-vs-four in a mansion setting with a mystery Prince complicating things because both of them are entirely new to everything including butches apparently. The Prince is likely the first time Hanako has experience anything nice from a "guy" as her current long running attachment to anyone is to her childhood bully she gives her paychecks to and treats her strength like a money making venture. But Hanako was also Sadako's first follower on Instagram where she was sending out thirst traps into the universe that Hanako admittedly felt attracted to... and only put off due to her witch trauma but not so much put off that when Sadako asked to be chased Hanako chased her. And for Sadako's part she's been introduced to a human "norm". Her own authentic if immature feelings she's been loudly expressing vs Prince's own less authentic, agenda filled love bombing.

Remember kids: Sadako was basically without human contact for the majority of her life, and Hanako has such low self esteem she has to pay someone she know openly despises her, and the origin of her original social trauma, just so she has a sliver of a chance to pretend she has a friend. I don’t think we can judge either of their reactions, or judge what any of their attractions are. The “Prince” is literally the first person to feign or express genuine interest in Hanako ever, other than the overly excited puppy love of the pure essence of chaos given the vague shape of a witch that is Sadako.

It's gonna feel good for her to go well damn i treated her terribly for no good reason and she too has her own trauma and ways she coped


Like even before the romance i want hanako to see sadako is the realest fucker around, which depending on your personality can be exhausting or liberating, considering how she's about to get used again by someone she feels something for it should theoretically be a boon once she gets over the 100% undeserved hate lol like idc what anyone says she hates this girl for no reason

Tbh I don't have a sliver of doubt that this is 100% GL, I just find it very hard to get over the way she just fucking punched Sadako in the face and every character just ignored it. All this chapter achieved was making me dislike Hanako.

Reactions to chapters like this are exactly why interesting yuri series get axed. Glad this is Sal Jiang so that's not likely anyway but man. I shouldn't be surprised but sometimes I still get caught off guard.

Anyway, Can't wait for more. This group seems fun but also deceptively dangerous. Seems like they've caught a fly in their web and I wonder how the fourth witch will look like. Love all the chaos and honestly, Sadako has been forcing Hanako a long this whole time. There's no reason for them to get along at the moment. Why would they? She genuinely doesn't want any of this. She's allowed that, right?

i dont think the reaction would be that different even with confirmation of this prince being a girl from the start.
Hanako... its really just being a huge bitch for a long time already.
We know the reason for her hate. But it was a dumb reason and she basically was letting her fucker of a childhood friend to treat her as trash while she take the frustration out on strangers like Sadako.
Its true this resulted on the typical shit of Hanako being pushed into difficult situations she didnt ask for, but she hasnt tried to not be an asshole to Sadako even once, to the point of violence this episode.
Feels like a bigger reason to drop this or having it axed is realizing how little chemistry exist between the main characters and how shitty one of them is.
