I hope this conflict/combat arc ends up soon...

While it's nice to see an MC on the fence, I hope he stops getting fucked soon. He keeps using teleport for example, and they keep figuring it out, and he does nothing to change that. He just keeps using it. I'd like to see some actual progress in the MC's cultivation, like creating new spells or reaching the next step towards the 8th circle, or just the 8th circle in general.

It feels like the same fight is happening over and over again. The MC is just using the same like 4 spells and is shocked every time the enemy is able to see through them or block them. He is supposed to be a super powerful wizard, but he has trouble against every enemy he fights, as if he never fought a single person in his past life. It's like he has no combat experience at all.

It feels like the art style has changed somewhat, and I for one, liked the original style better.
