This Chapter 428 adapts Volume 12 Chapter 5-8(Beginning of Part 2) of the Web Novel.

Manhua & Novel differences:
They change so many things in the Manhua especially in this confrontation reunion between blood spirit clan and Gulan tribe, because in the novel everybody knows that Lin Tuo is a traitor as I mention a few chapters ago about the different events, Twilight Star is now confirmed dead from 2 arcs ago by a devourer from other world that took over Bai Ji’s Body, also The way things were handle the dialogues are different but end the same way since they needed to cut corners in the manhua unlike the novel. in th novel Gulan and blood clan hate each other so much they almost fought more than in the Manhua and Lin Tuo tried to be neutral in the fight argument, Ji Yue is apparently weak and in deadlike state due to Bai Jin death, she is just depressed so it took awhile before she got out of the horse wagon unlike in the Manhua as seen here. And Yes everyone got played by the Elf as mention before once again they are cowards who just hid once the world is in trouble and just come back when things settle down just like the 2nd-3rd Age.
Don’t worry the details and information given in the Manhua is the same as Novel nothing was cut just shorten and done abit differently.

P.S. I just notice this translations has changed Twilight Star name to Mu Xing(interesting I guess this was the intended name)

Only thing that can honestly reconcile them is probably Bai Ji if she has any of Ji Bai’s influence left as She and Ji Yue are step siblings just as Yana & Bai Ji are kinda due to Solyanda Memories & Her Reincarnation. Oh wait maybe Liliana could be the key since she is technically Bai Ming but not her just has her memories and we know Ji Yue has memories of the Gulan Emperor who was close to Bai Ming that why she is so obssessed with Bai Jin, this is not a spoiler just an assumption using Manhua Present timeline knowledge(including Novel events up to Manhua latest chapter)

I mean I feel like that ji yue is still around cause if you remember that previous arc she was obsessed with Bai Jin as much as Ji Bai even though she knew Bai Jin is Bai Ji, not to mention the way she shows her affections were kinda similar to the Ji Yue we knew, she can be cruel sometimes but there still hints of her old self left, also understandable that you can forget after a long time only reason I remember most is I always try to revisit and take notes of stuff by discussing with other people on a weekly basis also Ji Yue and Bai Ji kinda did reconcile in that chapter where she defeated Lin possessed by Twilight Star going blind berserk beast form, even if Ji Yue ended up attacking her and the blood clan once again as alliance with Elf Queen(Twilight Star/Mu Xing). I got to be honest when I read the Novel on that scene like 2 years ago I actually thought they were gonna reconcile there I was quiet surprised when that actually didn’t end there with the Manhua the war still going on between them.

I remember predicting how long it would take for the novel to end back in 2022-2023 and honest now that we have come this far we actually quiet near endgame and yea around 3 years left maybe this might end cause I said 5-10 years when it was updating twice a week until the schedule change. I just check novels events we are pretty close to the end just a few volume left, excluding side story
Edit: Wow, no way we actually have 2 volumes left before Side Stories series coming to an end, Volume 13 is the Final Volume before Side Stories & Epilogues, We are currently on Volume 12 in the Manhua

I read it in FanMTL, which is kinda bad in translation because they use machine translation to translate it into english, back then I search for raws and then use google translation to find the right website but now mtl updated and is caught up to the end of the novel. I sadly can’t give the link since I heard it against the rules here, there also Good translation for it but they are really far behind in story compare to
manhua
