I remember predicting how long it would take for the novel to end back in 2022-2023 and honest now that we have come this far we actually quiet near endgame and yea around 3 years left maybe this might end cause I said 5-10 years when it was updating twice a week until the schedule change. I just check novels events we are pretty close to the end just a few volume left, excluding side story
Edit: Wow, no way we actually have 2 volumes left before Side Stories series coming to an end, Volume 13 is the Final Volume before Side Stories & Epilogues, We are currently on Volume 12 in the Manhua

It was indeed the same, Yana also told Huo Lei that Twilight Star is dead, kinda weird consider I remember Possessed Bai Ji said that She escaped despite killing Elf Queen but I guess Twilight star is really dead. In the Novel of that scene She did die from what I remember

I just reread the chapters during Blood spirit empire vs Elves & Gulan arc, Twilight star was indeed killed by Possessed Bai Ji, and then Bai Ji came back as Bai Jin to take back her vampire body. Also Looking back at that chapter the Entity who possessed Bai Ji might have been from the realm place that The 5 heroes formed because they mention some entity in a dark castle which is probably Kerr/Lilith not Sin Lord

So I just read more of the novel future events and apparently Twilight Star/ Mu Xing is still alive she actually somehow escape & fake death and ambushed Bai Ji and everyone after fighting Sin Lord, I just found out about this which will lead to something nice which I will keep it a secret till it happens in Manhua

Yea and also she is just way too depressed now ever since finding out the truth about herself plus despite hating her mother knowing that Chestnut is dead make it even sadder for her, she only hate her mother for failing to save her sister(Chestnut 2nd child that got possessed by Twilight Star/Mu Xing) from The Fire that happened in their home or twilight star manipulation of Chestnut to poison Lilias, also Ji Bai is gone since nobody knows that Ji Bai & Bai Ji are the same person after all they had somewhat romantic feeling with each other at one point

It was indeed a missed opportunity but to be fair Lin was injured saving Ji Bai from Ji yue causing them to separate so nobody knew about Lin Tuo betrayal unlike the Novel where Lin was strike behind while fighting by Ji Yue, she didn’t save Ji Bai unlike the Novel if I remember correctly but I don’t remember if Ji Bai send her to Huo Lei, actually no He didn’t In the Novel only Lin & Ji Bai went to confront Ji Yue while in the Manhua, they went as a trio Ji Bai, Huo Lei, and Lin. After Lin passed out and was injured Ji Bai transform into Bai Ji. in that arc so many things were different between Novel and Manhua but they all lead to the same thing and character status that happened except Lin Tuo being a traitor was too early

Just reread that part in the novel and well I just wanna say it it even more brutal Lin got done dirty by Ji Yue attack, golden spear pierce through her chop her arm off and pierce her to the wall causing her to cough blood 💀 to top it off Ji Yue also forcefully pull the Spear from her body and then threw her off with her other arm to a pillar hitting it really hard, really brutal in the Novel, Novel been much more violent compare to Manhua

Update2: So in the novel Several Moon Knights were at the scene like Reinforcements so they were the ones that rescue Lin and then Ji Bai just decide to transform into Bai Ji after rocks fall on him and Ji Yue found the blonde hair small girl that seem to have been forgotten now adays ever since Bai Jin came into the picture. After Bai Ji appears everyone on both sides were frighten and could move except Ji Yue since this is the reincarnation of Queen Solyanda, and as I mention before Ji Yue tricks by Bai Ji to let her guard down and kills her then laugh only for Bai Ji to return from the dead to punish her only for the same as Novel She spare her and then Bai Ji ends up becoming Bai Jin.

Can we assume Ji Yue secretly had her killed or disposed off after discovering Bai Jin lol afterall she thought her to be a candidate of Bai Ming descendent only for Bai Jin to show up which was funny in a way she can never escape from her Brother/Sister, they have too much of a link relationship

Yeah lol. I prefer to think that Ji Yue just doesn't care about her now, so she isn't near Ji Yue all the time anymore, but is still alive. Btw, not sure if you know but does Theeta (or w/e was her name) ever appear in the novel after Bai Ji became the queen?

Oh she is also missing in future arcs they focus mainly on Tina, Yana, and Elder Nim from the Vampire side no one else was ever shown again though I can give one small informations that In the Epilogue they bought back The Prime Minister Vampire guy Delano/Deran being someone who has seen 3 generations of Vampire Queen from Lilias’s Mother to Bai Ji, he was arrested during the Ziling rebellion arc for defending Bai Ji and never shown again until that time in the story epilogue 50 years of being Minister
