P.S. RIP to all the elves including probably the side characters that was shown and forgotten cause they are probably one of the people died/sacrificed by Elf Queen, some of them were either controlled or only following orders even if they deserve it for what they did in the entire story of just hiding during chaos and only coming back when everything is peaceful again

Yea unfortunately they all got forgotten in the Novel never ever mention again after that arc 😔 and even Manhua didn't fixed that with forgotten characters

Unfortunately so, this is the fates of all the elves even the Novel just showed piles of elves corpses without ever showing what happen to them only that they were sacrificed by MuXing/Twilight Star as seen here in the Manhua. No showing their reactions to getting betrayed by their master/ancestor/creator

poor elves. They weren't the greatest of people in practice if my memory serves me right, but they did not deserve that. Being all killed by their own queen. Why does this manhua always turn things this ridiculously bleak?

I mean as ironic as it is for them to get done in like all the races they did that to it’s rather underwhelming given how built up a few of the elves were early on

But I guess my question is whether Lin was included in that or not since I don’t think it’s ever made clear what happened to her and she is part elf

She probably isn’t she is too valuable but I am not really sure all I know is that

Lin shows up at the end of the story but I’m not sure if this is her normally or just dead. Ah right Lin is alive right before the final part of Volume 12 if I remember correctly she does make an appearance being free from MuXing/Twilight Star influence beside the epilogue where Chestnut, Liliana, Yana, Bai Ji, Lilias, and Lin live happily ever after

Just like most of the fantasy stories or any other fantasy stories, Each races or species are just pawns or tools use by their own gods/creator as throwable things that can be replaced or sacrificed once the are no longer of valued 😔 seen this happen in so many stories where the gods just watch as their creations fight among themselves or watch as entertainments or keep them to be use for their grand/greater purpose later on

Honestly though it’s hard to feel bad outside that one elf girls we see during the Bai Jin arc when the elves seemingly didn’t care about the other races or at least didn’t make an effort to

Just realize I forgot to post this. this chapter adapts Volume 12 Chapter 35-37(part 1) of the Web Novel. The battle was extended in the Novel with more informations as everyone was being shock seeing corpses of elves lying around and Liliana disappeared during the battle agains the corpses because she was observing & watching everyone teamwork and later she intervene since she was being careful knowing how cunning Elf Queen can be. Along with time is running out since the longer they take the more danger Bai Ji life is in since she is getting digested inside MuXing body. So Manhua did a great job in explaining i from the Novel not cutting anything just shortening it while showing the panels. Since no need to narrate the characters action
