I'd have to question how one would get merits when their order didn't sortie out. I could understand if the Order of Knights sallied out and rescued the soldiers defending the gates in the nick of time, but we didn't even get that.

In this world, attacks and invasions from hostile races are a constant. Unless they are planning to "blame" the traitor for the "delayed" response from the Knight Order, even then, that excuse is really flimsy considering the "traitor" is just a low ranking knight. Frankly, it speaks more to the incompetence of the order more than anything else that a low ranking soldier managed to somehow paralyze an entire organization's response to such a dire emergency.

How does he transform, it makes no sense at all, the reason he does in novel was because he didn't have any blood but in this he literally drinks blood provided by the team, it's as if they read the novel but didn't understand a god dam word that was said in it. It's as if they're trying to follow the plot but added things in that they thought looked cooler and took thinks away that didn't look cool, by that I mean him having blood before the battle cool but him have actually zero jobs at the start and knocking someone unconscious using vampire form to do so, to use ultraman suit to fight the knights that harassed the nuddle shop and running away from fire knight and then go back to check on ke'er, not cool. They even removed him helping her with the injury and that's why she's so attached to him.
