It's not because most people can't write that nobody can. Some romance do make sense. Most mainstream ones don't though.
It's not about expectations here, it's the fact that the good art feels wasted when paired with a stupid plot.

Now it's mostly subjective if you'll like one or not, so I'm going to give you one I really like right now, but it doesn't mean you'll like it or find it better than this one. Try Musashino Rondo.

There are a lot I've liked and finished before, just this one in particularly comes to mind.

Uh i got mixed feeling about this since most popular and good ones have good arts and bad manga with good art is about even more common but most of the “bad” ones are like jokes and manga purely made for enjoying the braindead plotline

You're right, but when you've seen gorgeous art with a good plot, you can't help but be disappointed by every good art+trash plot stories.

Try this. It's an absolute banger.
It's been a while since I've read it, so I might lower my grading if I read it again, but I still think you might appreciate it.

By the way, the one I recommended earlier has stunning art quality too. That's just my recommendation standarts, the majority of them don't have shitty art.

That doesn't stop the story from being great, even if it didn't go as you would've liked it would go. But it's fine if you don't like it, at least the plot isn't that braindead and the art is great.

Ahem i mean it great but uh… it fucking died halfway through the damn story leaving us on a permanent cliffhanger like they didnt even gave us a quick time skip for at least an ending and just complete it.

I'm guessing this thing died? There hasn't been any new chapters on the raw site for several months. I was liking this manga. The art is really good and the story is good enough to make you interested. Hope it comes back.

This is a nothing manga, 17 chapters in and nothing happened, we didn't learn a thing about anyone involved, and the premisce is hardly exploited as a theme.
There's just stuff that's there, and then some more stuff, none of which is of consequence or advance the plot. rince and repeat ad nauseam.

To bad this got the axe. I loved the artist and the story was pretty good as well. For those saying there wasn't much there, I think there was. It wasn't massive, but it was looking to be a longer story that just got the axe. Looking forward to the next thing they do.
