I am prepared for either scenario, that CLAMP wants to murder this series and turn Yuko into a bad person, or that the person in the Not Zashiki-Warashi's dreams only resembles Yuko. Wearing a butterfly kimono and having long hair are fairly vague descriptors. I suppose there could also be the possibility that there is an alternate version of Yuko in play too.
