Look I get it, Kase often screws up and makes life harder on Yamada. She's a selfish idiot a lot of the time. But I feel like "worst girlfriend" and "terrible human" are a bit much. She's not abusive, she's not a cheater, she's not exploiting Yamada, she goes to college every day and works hard. She supports Yamada's passions and inspired her to pursue them. She's far from the worst girlfriend imaginable.

It's not "a bit much", it's simply ridiculous. She's not even selfish, because she always puts Yamada and her teammates before her own happiness.

She's just an awareless idiot that goes berserk when she's jealous, because she feels a strong sense of protection towards Yamada, who is oblivious to the effect she has on the boys.

Now that the dust from the "stupid race" arc is settled and we're getting the lovey dovey cohabitation stuff regardless, I've mostly moved on, but there was something about the way she just tanked Yamada's plans because her weirdly posessive roommate was being way too weird and posessive and didn't talk things through with Yamada before basing their future plans on a stupid fucking pointless race (or tell the roommate the truth about her and Yamada from the start and avoid the stupid fucking pointless race) that will never quite sit right with me.

But I don't hate Kase or think Yamada should dump her or any of that crap. I just wish she would communicate a smidge more. Maybe. Hopefully.

holy moly, this chapter makes it seem like there is a possibility that Doi isn't as freakishly creepy and annoying as Fukami (we take her being irritating and destroying an umbrella over Fukami actively trying to destroy Yamada's life any day)
AND Kase is not (yet?) acting like the worst gf and terrible human ever?
