Yami Baito-saki wa Isekai deshita - Vol. 2 Ch. 9

Oof, the axe. Shame, this wasn't bad.

[Nibelcol]

Damn the axe is really brutal. From the looks of it this one is a manga original, and if thats the case there is no story continuation anywhere else. Gotta give them prop at least to give it a time skip and give an actual ending rather than open ending, though still severaly lacking details ofc.

[Minipels]

Sad it ended so quickly, I think it had potential but at least we know that MC got to resurrect his friend.

Thanks for the translation

[xanon]

Thanks for finishing the series!

[OWMWO]

MC awakens his inner METAL BAT in the last chapter.. and cometh the AXE.

Thank you for finally finish this, shame it only goes this far but looking on this last chapter abrupt setting change on early explanation, I doubt the story can be good going with this new concept that betrays the previous lorebuilding..

[ihoj]

God damn it the axe strikes again.

[DatMattDaddy]

Noooooo axe kun

wait wut

[SunSun]

I've seen pple complain about a 10-15 volume manga ending as getting axed...

NO, THIS, THIS IS WHAT GETTING AXED IS. The story just suddenly cuts off, not going for 30 chapters or 6-7 volumes.

Edit: there's a chance the axe happened because the artist was getting picked up for a different manga, the fighting game manga directly published by CAPCOM.

[TrueGoddessReincarnation]

It sucks how quickly this got axed. The art was decent and the premise was ok-ish. But no Japan wants 900000 one slop chapters and rent a gf instead.

[lebbylan]

Brother this one is brutal, I had to double take seeing the one year timeskip panel. Only to realise later at the end of page it was the end. Damn man

[PechWild]

Damn. Another axe victim.

[Cpl_Facehugger]

I mean, yeah, the axe sucks, but at least it offered some kind of closure. Dude resurrected his friend, dude ended up with the cute girl, dude got to play baseball, dude probably isn't diving into weird isekai vidya hell dungeon anymore... Dude won the game. How often do the guys in these manga get to win the game? Never.
