Time to pull my anime ages translation chart:I'm giving up, i'll just mentally add 5 to their ages from now on
"10 years old is somewhat of an adult in this world"I'm giving up, i'll just mentally add 5 to their ages from now on
Methinks he's in that Isekai MC phase of "this is a game world and not full of actual people and I am a spectator with no sway", said while fucking up the "storyline" that exists entirely in his own head.Surely our MC isn't so dense that he doesn't realize what she means when she grabs him right... please....
Yeah either that of life expectancy is really shit for them to consider 10 year old "late teen"/"really early adult"."10 years old is somewhat of an adult in this world"
The implications of the above sentence from the MC in-chapter do not inspire good feelings or confidence.
That is absolutely the less-skeevy way to look at it, so I want to use your take as my personal headcanon going forward.Yeah either that of life expectancy is really shit for them to consider 10 year old "late teen"/"really early adult".
It’s not necessarily untrue. Historically children were held to a higher standard. Noble children that age would know that there would be harsh punishments for misbehaving in public. And commoner children would likely already be working at that age"10 years old is somewhat of an adult in this world"

Oh, I was also including the whole "at 10 years old I'm physically strong enough to hold my own against adults in practice sparring" type thing from previous chapters. It’s not necessarily untrue. Well, the summary makes me think that this was part of the brat's backstory, just not touched on in the game. Please don't be another MC who cares/worries about changing the "storyline" of a game. I really hate this kind of trope, sacrificing his character development for the sake of the OG game storyline... I'm glad tho that he didn't deny the "exiled the spoiled brat", but I doubt that would be his punishment (probably grounded for a month/year?)
