But the question is... why did he even enter the hidden room?

"Hey, go die in there!"

How about.. telling them no? What are they going to do about it, kill him in livestream? Still... it's somewhat different from usual so I'll give it a read. for a bit.

EDIT: Ok, apparently from reading chapter 2.1 player killing is allowed....
... which is retarded, authorities should absolutely make it a crime in order to have more people trying to clear dungeons. Allowing player killing is tupid...

Don't know how you guys think but, to banish/betray someone who literally has the title "Hero" seems a bit idiotic.
well by the "it has to be done, even if it means forcing him" part, it seems that they don't want to betray him but its needed for the greater good

"Never before seen" Yeah right! I've seen one where the banished party member gets either a beastfolk girl, a dragon, or an elf slave, you won't get me this time, author-san! :pacman: I'll still read it though.

I'll still stand by this reasoning, since one of the girls tried to explain/stop something before she got stopped by the other guy and mentioned that this has to be done
That would make sense with a minor boss with no infamy, but wont make sense with one who has famously wiped out entire parties (and other soloers) by herself. Where is the guarantee that they were doing it for the reasons you gave?

Just gonna have to wait for future chapters regarding this

I think what is selling me is she apparently has a life outside of being a dungeon boss. Most of the time they portray it as them just lingering around in the bossroom 24/7. I'm curious what the repercussions of learning some monsters have lives.

Are the people in this world all just scummy trash? A lot of things basically don't add up unless that's the case.

Ok so they kick him to die in the dungeon to a boss I guess that could be hidden pretty easily. Oh, everyone gets a free resurrection. So he dies and just tells everyone the groups a bunch of shitty traitors. Unless the managing guild is totally corrupt or everyone is scum, no one would want to join their party to replace MC and they would find it harder to get jobs later. Oh ok, even worse there's live streaming. Even if they weren't livestreaming when they sent him to his death, he was streaming during the boss fight. Presumably, there's audio so all the viewers would have heard about his scum bag party sending him to his death on purpose just to get him out of their party. Great so there's video evidence of it too! The party sure does have extra intelligent decision making skills. Surely people will be very happy a high level adventurer was deliberately removed from the work force for no reason at all.

Lets ignore the chat being exclusively low value simps dying to say cute vampire boss as if betraying your lifelong friend is a normal tuesday afternoon. There are tons of questions this brings up. Why did they specifically wait to banish him so he would lose his main or only source of income? Why didn't they kick him before the dungeon? Why not just introduce him to another team that needs the fill? Why do they call dying to a hidden boss a farewell gift when it's only reasonable to assume that it would only disadvantage him immensely in a world that had to quick evolve to deal with dungeons? Why is the the vampire the only expressive character and everyone else is as dull wood?

Will any of these questions be answered? Well it's not a web novel so there's a chance the writer actually thought about this but I bet the answers still be stupid and unsatisfying. I bet the writer will say some bullshit like once you form a party it can never change unless someone dies.
i guess that there won't be a answer and it will just be the famous why not??/

The idea that a jack of all trades is bad is false at its core. Someone who can do well in all fields can adapt way more than others and always has some level of use in every situation.
There's a reason the full phrase is "jack of all trades, master of none, but certainly better than a master of one."

Also, the explanation on how boss's even work in this setting would be a fantastic opportunity...
It sure beats "I was sitting alone in a dark room, waiting for the motion sensor lights come on so I could make my grand appearance

So MC didn't accept because he is a JUST a idiot but even because he felt he had hit the cap as a streamer, unable to keep up with the party both in performance as a fighter and video creator.
Still, is retarded to discard your only respawn for life because of that.
And his party leader was a piece of shit, could have simply sent him away out of the dungeon, but he exiled in front of the kill door to ensure he would enter it and axe his life as a streamer, in case he changed idea one day.
The reason is simple, the asshole didn't want another team to use MC to progress like they did, that is a friend as much as manure have a nice smell.
As much as MC is unable to be on par with a specialized adventurer his skill as support are the best.
And MC realization was to make us understand that a Jack is really a solo type adventurer, not having to support other people can make him focus on using his abilities on himself.
The drawback for a specialized is having to be in a team to adventure, the drawback for a Jack is having to go solo to perform at their best, both carry problems and risks, in short the party was the only one gaining from MC when MC was burning himself out covering multiple roles.

I've never understood why being a jack of all trades is a bad thing. The full quote is "a jack of all trades, master of none, though oftentimes better than a master of one."
Actual history of the phrase is more complicated.
Originally: "He's a jack of all trades." (Compliment.)
Later: "Jack of all trades, master of none." (Diss)
Still later: "Jack of all trades, master of none, though oftentimes better than a master of one." (compliment, eff you 'master none' inventor!)

But pretty obviously, there are trade-offs between specialist and generalist. Which is better will be situationally dependent.

Well, just the same trash as ever… however, I’m wondering if his group wanted him to retire from dungeons so they can “confess” their feelings.

This shit is kinda wack. Add to that the schizo artstyle, this is just unpleasant to read, even if the vampire is really cute.
