See, while the main reason I hated Chita, the fact that she seems to always be using the other two girls for her own gain, hasn't changed, the thing I hated about her in her relationship with Tokio, which is her knowing that Tokio likes her but doesn't accept it or end it and just keeps using it to rope him into doing stuff with her, is at least getting addressed.
So great on that. Still don't like her.
Now commenting on the progression. If she doesn't have romantic feelings for Tokio, now that shes said it, they can still be friends, but the ball is now in Tokio's court. He he keeps pursuing romance, its now on him if nothing is reciprocated, unlike before where i was putting all the fault on Chita.
Now, some of you might say that she does love him, she just doesn't understand her feelings. While possible, I would hate that to be the case here. Thats some plain teen romance novel development. I'd rather see how the author deals with either Tokio having to accept he'll never quite get what he wants but can be as close to it as she allows, or even straight up rejection into an ugly possible breakup of their friendship.
