Neither of the main two boys are actually bad looking like that other guy from that manga (So-and-so's springtime? I literally can't remember the name. But he's huge and has those octopus lips iirc.) They mostly just have bad styling or are drawn in a way that shows them as weird. Anjou likes Seto's geeky dork look, but he's actually a prettyboy when he's styled properly (Vampire). Same with Inuyama, aside from the shark teeth he's basically Draco Malfoy.
