Oof. Considering Crimium seemed like a nice girl up until she met Shade-who is her half-brother, by the way-it looks like yandere is just in the blood.
Which kinda puts Lycoris's mother in an unusual light. It kinda makes me wonder just what her parents' relationship was like.

He’s basically saying:
Lycoris‘ mom was a yandere.
Her uncles grandmother was also a yandere.
Lycoris‘ mom and her great grandmother were broken.
Kaffir and Lycoris‘ mom got married to a relative to thicken their bloodline.
(Probably so there was more of a possibility of the getting red hair and eyes.)
Her uncle excepts her to be broken like her great grandmother and mother.
Lycoris doesn’t want to be in her uncles mansion anymore, because everyone is crazy.
Kaffir was a victim of the Lilia family and it’s craziness.

It's just genetics - mental illness tends to run in families. Protagonist only escaped it because she was able to recall memories of a future that grounded her in reality.
It's pretty cool that the author actually has some kind of realistic basis for why everyone in this world is fucking insane.

@NamelessSoldier Indeed. Though Lycoris's old man seems to be fighting against the madness. Perhaps it helps him that he's travelling a lot and thus meeting a lot of new people. It would both help him keep a sensible mindset, stay focused on things other than the family matters, and stay away from his crazy relatives, lest their insanity infects him as well.
