Well, it's a story at the end of the day, the author will find some way if he really wants it to end with mmc and fmc together. What i don't get is why go so hard on developing the romance between him and senpai if that is the case though, i can understand building a love triangle, but it feels like there should be an equal amount of development with the fmc in that case or else most people are going to side with the ship that has moved beyond the initial phase and has actual feelings involved, as is the case in this thread.
