Reading this just makes me angry.
First, she didn't even do anything to mend or even deal with the rumors that popped up because of the incident. She could have called for an investigations to make it so that people know that she was actually almost assaulted rather than it being a meeting with a man. She just accepted the rumors and allowed herself to be labeled as a slut.
Second, she could have at least explained to her new "husband" about the truth of the rumors. She just went quiet and felt bad for herself.
I tend to like stories like these because the FMC are usually strong-willed or has a charm that makes them likeable, but this girl, she just irritates me.

@LayZzz : I mean, there was SIX years that was skipped (the incident happened early on in her first year, she graduate after 3 years, then 3 more years skipped), maybe she did try but nobody listen cuz 'oh you're just making excuses hohohohohoho' nobles.

Alternatively, she was meek before, and only after getting into this position that she decide "ok fuck them all, fuck this house, fuck my father, I'm going to make myself so independent I don't have to rely on them for my life"...her now being old enough to considered an adult and thus not have her assets belong to her family might also factor into this.

Why would everyone suspect she's having an affair with a person who broke into her house at a party.
Why would her dad(?) marry her off to some fallen duke family? What are the circumstances that lead to it and what are the benefits?
Why wouldn't she protest against the marriage?
