Did you completely skipped the chapter in which Takae kissed Saotome and sold him on the lie that kisses are just things that girls go around doing casually and that he shouldn't take anything that happened with both her and Ushigome seriously?

And then he immediately went "Oh well if it wasn't that big a deal i guess i was overreacting for nothing", the only one that has properly confessed is Ushigome, and Saotome is just idling how to turn her down, Takae on the other hand went and set everything 10 steps back

I agree that Takae's "confession" wasn't straightforward, but I think Saotome didn't bought her lie. He might still be uncertain about her feelings but the seed of doubt has been (finally) planted.

Still my point remains, this is definitely the "multiple confessions" arc. The author seems to have decided to move the romance plot in a meaningful way, so real confessions and rejections are incoming (unless Saotome just picks the girl he likes and the others get a rejection by default)

I think this is a death flag for Kodera, if she goes to the date I think that she is going to give up Saotome at the end of it.

So Aoi is the 2nd to actually get a date out of him after Kujaku. Going about things in the right order rather than just assaulting him like a certain other 2 ladies.

How is he going to misinterpret the fact that they are going on a real date as her not having feelings for him?

"She just wants to help me as fashion designer and show me the dress for reference." or something like that.
