Like everyone in the manga is actually mentally retarded, which is funny to the author I guess.

The dude is not only scary looking but an actual dick surrounded by a brain dead cast of side characters. And the gag about him being scary is so cringe.

The story is decent and the MC is likable the main problem of this series is the side cast oof it’s like having 3 aquas in the party and the only difference is the varying degree of abuse the MC experience with each one of them

the best chapters is when the MC left all 3 of them but then they ended up following him and I guess the beginning arc was also good when there was only one girl and she has not turned into a yandere which she later becomes

The maid is the most decent among the 3 though cause she mostly stick with verbal one and is somewhat useful.

If the side cast just have better characteristics this series would have been great.

No, there's no proof anywhere it was axed or cancelled. It's just slow uploading is all. Some manga update weekly, some update monthly, and some even update every other month. It depends on where they were published and who the editors are. Japanese publishing works significantly differently than how other countries do things.

Another thing I noticed about people hating this manga is they are veteran readers. But I think this manga is geared towards newer readers. Follow me on this. A lot of books out there are designed for adults, young readers, kids, etc. right? I think manga is the same. Never mind the genre or demographic but I think manga are geared for levels of readers as well. This manga is meant for people starting to get into that area: Easy to Intermediate if you will. But most manga veterans are somewhere at Advanced or beyond so naturally manga like this will be aggravating. These readers want something complex, different expectations, in-depth descriptions and scenes, etc. But those not as experienced don't care yet.

Anyway, that's just my observation. Take it for what it's worth, if anything at all.
