The magic stuff is the least enjoyable part of the story for me.
Yeah. And the fact that no one ever thought of a simple concept of producing a fixed amount of something to measure mana astonished me. Makes me really worried about the IQ level of the people of that world.
(But then again characters of a story can only be as intelligent as the writer so nothing we can do about that.)

The magic stuff is the least enjoyable part of the story for me. All the "amazing" things the MC has done so far seem like basic bitch magic but of course it's super cool and unique because this is an isekai so everyone else in the world is either a talentless shitter or braindead.

On the other hand, the side characters and MC's interactions with them are much more enjoyable. I hope we get more of that and less of that other stuff.

Didn't the manga just try to explain it? Magic is rare, so there are fewer people who can use it, so there are fewer people to advance the study and use of magic. It's not that everyone is talentless or stupid, as the manga explained most literally cannot use magic, and the few who can seem to be mostly forced to do stuff for their kingdom/government.

So what reason do they have to advance the capabilities of magic users? Not much really because most people would not benefit from such research until a method of allowing magic's widespread use is discovered or a vital task only magic users can perform is found (and one that benefits from having as many users available as possible for said task).

On top of that, we saw with MC's teacher a potential reason why progress in magic is slow. She became a victim of medieval-fantasy-style office politics and got forced out of her position before she could show the fruits of her progress in her field of study.

Furthermore, and last of all, we have no idea when this manga takes place in the history of it's setting, so for all we know the setting could be before widespread adoption or research into magic, and maybe the author could be setting the MC up as the catalyst for rapid advancement in the field of magic and research into it. You guys have set yourselves up for premature disappointment only 7 chapters in by assuming a lot about the world and it's characters before any of it has been revealed.

Though with other isekai mangas' track records I can see why these assumptions are made, but it's important to note that while the vast majority of isekai fantasy manga is similar the authors can be very different people with different approaches to their stories, so the possibility of this manga being different is not zero.

This might be the most bland and forgettable isekai I've ever seen. I genuinely cannot name a single new idea. Everything it's doing other manga did better and it isn't even executing the cliches in new or innovative ways. Was this a light novel? Did the light novel have a unique selling point down the line?

I like how he encouraging love to another. But im sure he going to be dense when it comes to himself and love. The girl would have to come to him instead of him going to her.

Whoa. 7 chapters and we already have a confession, even if it's not the main cast. Our boy is a good wingman. :headpat:

No, no, clarifying in front of her own parents and also in front of him that they're "just friends" is obviously gonna be a confidence crusher no matter how blushy she is. We, the readers, know what a cf tsundere is, but Ruben here is clueless.

In case you’re wondering, the different fields written in that illegible font are “war, the army, adventurer, research”

And once again the logic ain't logicing for me. :aquadrink:

It's cool to know how the eggs(cores) becomes chickens(dungeons), but where does the eggs come from, how are they formed.
Also if the chickens needs to feed on creatures dying inside it by monsters (or accidents) inside it, how does vomiting the monsters outside help?
Or is it just badly explained and when they are talking about "that's how it feeds", they are saying that it his how it feeds the monster inside the chickens?
