I think that with all the hardship he has to endure during his time fighting the demon king and all the other shit, he would mature a bit, not much but more tough mentally. But I don't see anything tough about him at all beside his power is OP, his inner monologue and everything seem like a kid come up with a setting and just let it roll.

Well, this is just how I see it, I don't think he did anything wrong with destroy the human kingdom to retaliate or refuse the princess but I just find his inner monologue cringe.

Like how he keep mention that the world is shitty and how only his wife is his ally and the only one love him and on his side in all the world.

Dude seem like someone who is under mental illness which make him hate the whole world and obsesesed with his wife to keep himself together. That is kinda unhealthy.

Well, this is just my opinion though, everyone has their own taste.
Well he is from another world, so it is not wrong when he hate his new world when they force him to become "hero" then betray him.
About his inner voice being cringe, i think it just because it is not his inner voice, more about him telling reader his story / experience.
And about his obsessiveness, still think that it because it is prologue so he tell us that after what he experience, what he care now is just his wife

I don't know how to get this added to the title page but this is the novelupdates link if anyone wants to read the novel version: https://www.novelupdates.com/series/the-sulky-summoner-doesnt-move/

I decided to check out the novel to see how it starts off and it is a bit different in terms of how it presents Kenta. This chapter covers chapter 1 and half of chapter 2. The dream sequence showing his summoning, fight with demon king, and betrayal by the kingdom is not present in novel or at least not within the first few chapters.

Novel starts off with people yelling outside Kenta's house and him grumbling about having to deal with them. Kenta describes Princess Victoria as wearing a filly lace-adorned armor whereas the manga has her in a frilly dress. This totally changes her impression for me. Armor says that she is actively part of battle as a commander of some sort, dress says to me that she stays far away from any conflict. Kenta also comes off as much less obsessed with his wife in the first few novel chapters and quickly backs down from the idea that he actually hates everyone.

The impression I have from the novel is that Kenta is a reclusive guy that loves his wife, is annoyed by the people showing up at his doorstep, and mainly just hates nobles since they are the ones that betrayed him. Manga Kenta comes off as a paranoid guy that's obsessed with his wife and actually hates everyone else in the world.

Oh, so in the novel MC was more chill than in the manga version.

I can understand his hate for nobles after such an experience.
