P/S: I don't think he did anything wrong with destroyed the kingdom that forced him to fight or didn't accept the princess's request. I just find his mental monologues too cringe and childish for my taste here.

What do you expect? It has the shounen tag. Target demo for that isn't particularly mature. Just base emotional response is enough in a lot of cases, hell for people I know in their 30s it's enough.

Yeah the guy sounds like a chuuni. Most of the dialogue and narrative choices in this are kind of cringe. Still it's fun so I'll read a bit further to see where it goes.

Did you read at least half of the conversation? Which part about all the countries putting a bounty on his head didn't you understand? I also wouldn't want to help a world that tried to kill me after I saved their lives
