They already know that a) MC is an unique existence, and certainly far more powerful than anyone on their side, hence why they need him, b) MC is extremely hostile and willing to kill if provoked, and c) MC lives within a barrier that not even royal treasures can break through.

So what exactly is the fucking point of a public bounty? Who the hell are they even trying to attract? If there is a bounty hunter skillful enough to break into MC's home and either deal with him or capture his woman, then why not just recruit that guy instead?

It would be fine if they tried to get the girl using like secret royal spies or some shit. At least that would mean they think they can covertly get past him. But making your intentions public knowledge is beyond braindead.

I know this isn't exactly high level literature but holy shit, the author didn't even try. This conflict is so fucking forced.

They might think his lover comes and goes from the barrier. I wouldn't be surprised if they mistake the woman from the pair of adventurers as his lover.

I always hate how easily shonen manga fall back on making villains who are praised and highlighted for being smart and cunning, but who invariably do the dumbest stuff possible just because they have to utterly fail in the face of the glorious, untouchable hero/protagonist.

Smart characters need to be written smart to work. I guess the biggest problem is that it's hard for any writer to make someone smarter than the writer can manage to be on their own.

She isn't even portrayed as Smart. The first Princess knew beforehand that she'll very likely F up and put them all in Danger.
So 2nd Princess THINKS she is smart but in Reality is just a Smug Idiot.

We are not here to read hamlet, we here for enjoyable read and giggles and honestly, I think author have tried so hard to deliver it to be this good.

I'm amused that the princess could have been on the right track. Like, she had his attention with the pardon offer.

What the kingdom needed to do was just revoke his wanted status without asking anything in return, and let him know that they may request his aid later on a for-hire basis.

Probably even a "name your price" for-hire. After all, he's unstoppable and irreplaceable. If you're bringing him in, it means what you were keeping in reserve for emergencies wasn't good enough.

Instead, we're seeing an even more hideous self-destruction than the random dickhead knight being insufferably rude to a living god.

Wanted posters aren't exactly subtle, I'm surprised the rest of the royal family didn't shut that shit down immediately.
