Maybe a golem of some kind? That would be something that "fulfills its purpose". But golems leave behind a body. Maybe a golem made of mana? Maybe the mana would just dissipate afterwards. Like that water golem early on, if a water golem in a lake dies, the water its made of would just return to the lake, it wouldn't leave behind a body.So these false demons...
Goat butler was saying "something that fulfills its purpose and disappears as if it never existed in the first place, something you've seen countless times".
And Luna clearly realized what he was referring to.
But I don't. Does anyone have an idea?
Unless I'm overthinking it and he's just saying that they are mana fodder created to die.

So if something made of mana died, it would lose its form and dissipate.
The only other thing I can think of is some kind of magic. Like, you cast a spell, it does something, and then goes away. And it's something that Luna would have seen countless times. So it fits all the descriptions. But how would that actually work?Maybe some kind of physical illusions? Something physical that is created with a spell and disappears when it dies. Can living beings even be created with magic? We don't see that elsewhere in this series, right?
