Leo is lazy but I think it's also that it's his pride that was broken and thus doesn't care about anything except regaining what he believes to be rightfully his. Bennet is more of a battle junkie, always looking for a good fight so her pride makes it so she MAY get help on her path of power but never be handed power itself on a silver platter.
